Unlocking. A little bit of Hope...

Released: March 23, 2020

Hello my friends!

I just finished watching the incredible film, It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. As I watched, I was struck by the genuine and remarkable care with which Fred Rogers lived his life and created his art – an inspiration!

In these complicated days, I daily choose to not panic (though as an artist dependant on contract work, I am now without income for my company and family for the foreseeable future). Instead, our JHCA team has been dreaming up ways to inspire and bless in this season.

Some of the fun things we will be rolling out next week include  –

1. Releasing some of our JHCA film content online for free. We’d like to use it to bless and engage with you.

2. Until Easter weekend (April 13, 2020) we will be offering 25% off our annual viewing licensing fee for organizations that would like to use our resources.

3. I will be doing some Facebook LIVE readings of the scriptures and other creative content. Stay tuned for times! We look forward to having you join us.

4. You can receive a tax receipt by becoming a JHCA Patron. We would be so grateful if you partnered with us financially in the coming days so we can continue to speak into culture though our performances, creative direction and workshops. Click here. (Donations over $20 will be receipted.)

Our JHCA team has been meditating on these scriptures from Philippians 4:6-9. You are welcome to join us in this.

Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come. And know that the peace of God (a peace that is beyond any and all of our human understanding) will stand watch over your hearts and minds in Jesus, the Anointed One.

Finally, brothers and sisters, fill your minds with beauty and truth. Meditate on whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is good, whatever is virtuous and praiseworthy. Keep to the script: whatever you learned and received and heard and saw in me—do it—and the God of peace will walk with you.

We would be delighted to hear from you and look forward to interacting with you on Instagram and Facebook.

Piles of blessings upon you!
